What Is Ivory Wave?

Mood altering substance sold as a legal cocaine substitute

"Ivory Wave" which is also know as Vanilla Sky and Ivory Coast, has been reported to be used as a drug although it is officially sold as a bath salt. Sold in the US, Britain, and Australia as a "legal high" there are concerns about what is actually in the substance, which could be a knockoff of the original ingredients. Because Ivory Wave is not designed for human use, there are different regualtions about what can be put in the packaging that you acually get. The identifiable substance, MPDV, is also analogous to ecstacy but users have reported a short duration and a hangover effect. Side effects of Ivory Wave are difficult to categorize due to the varied nature of the package contents and its effect on different people, but anecdotal reports show muscular pain, sore jaw, lack of appetite, and cognitive issues as negative side effects while euphoria, stimulation, and empathy are reported as desirable effects by users.
